About This GT Radial Savero HT2 255/65R17

The GT Radial Savero HT2 in 255/65R17 is an all-season highway tire made for everyday driving on SUVs and light trucks that run this size. Think family errands, commuting, carpool duty, and long highway stretchesmore get me there comfortably than take the backroads for fun. Its a practical choice if you want a steady, predictable feel without paying for a specialty tire you dont really need.

In day-to-day use, it should feel calm and easy to live with. On the highway, its designed to track straight and stay stable, which matters when youre cruising at 6575 mph with a loaded trunk or a couple of passengers. Around town, you can expect smooth manners over normal cracks and patched pavement, the kind you hit on the way to school or the grocery store.

Rain is where a lot of drivers notice a tire the most, and this one is built with wet roads in mind. When youre braking at a stoplight in a downpour or merging onto a wet on-ramp, you want the tire to clear water and keep its grip so the car feels confident instead of floaty. Road noise should be reasonably controlled, so its less likely to turn your daily drive into a constant hum.

An honest limitation: its a highway all-season tire, not a dedicated winter or off-road option. If you deal with frequent deep snow, ice, or muddy trails, youll want something more specialized. For normal paved driving year-round, though, its a sensible, comfortable fit.
