Hankook Dynapro AT2 285/45R22

The Hankook Dynapro AT2 All Terrain in 285/45R22 is a good match for drivers who want one tire that can handle daily pavement miles but wont feel out of place when the road turns to gravel, dirt, or a muddy parking lot. Its commonly chosen on larger SUVs and pickups that run 22-inch wheels, especially when you want a tougher look and a little extra grip without giving up everyday drivability.

In normal commuting and highway trips, this tire is made to feel steady and predictable. When youre merging onto the freeway, changing lanes in crosswinds, or taking a long on-ramp, it should track confidently instead of feeling vague. Around town, that can translate into a more planted feel when youre doing school drop-offs, running errands, or braking for the surprise red light.

Rain is where a dependable tire really matters, and the Dynapro AT2 is designed to help you keep control when streets are wet and shiny. You should expect more confidence pulling away from a stop and more consistent braking in the rain than youd get from a worn or basic tire. Comfort and road noise are typically a reasonable middle ground for an all-terrain tire: not harsh, but you may notice a bit more hum on smooth highways compared with a quiet, road-focused tire.

Longevity is a strong point, helped by its 60,000-mile warranty, which makes sense for drivers who rack up miles on work commutes and weekend trips. One honest limitation: if your top priority is the quietest ride possible, or you deal with regular ice and deep winter conditions, a dedicated road tire or winter tire will be a better fit.
