Yokohama ADVAN Sport V105 235/60R18

The Yokohama ADVAN Sport V105 in 235/60R18 is a summer tire made for everyday drivers who want a sure-footed, calm feel on dry roads and confident control when a warm-weather rainstorm hits. Its a nice match for many SUVs and crossovers (and some larger sedans) that spend most of their time commuting, running errands, and doing weekend highway trips.

In normal driving, this tire should feel steady and predictable when you merge onto the freeway, take a curved on-ramp, or need to brake a little harder than planned at a yellow light. The tread has wide channels that help move water out from under the tire, which can help you feel less floaty in heavy rain and reduce the chances of sliding when the road is shiny and wet.

Comfort is a strong point here for a summer tire. Its built to keep the ride from feeling harsh over patched pavement, and the pattern is designed to keep road noise in check, so its less likely to drone during longer drives. The tradeoff is that this kind of tire usually wont last as long as a typical all-season option, and its not meant for cold weatheronce temperatures drop and you start seeing frost or snow, grip can fall off quickly.

choose this tire if:

• you want a confident, secure feel for warm-weather commuting and highway driving
• you regularly drive in summer rain and want better wet-road control
• you prefer a quiet, comfortable ride without giving up responsive handling

For most drivers, its a smart warm-season upgrade that feels reassuring in everyday situations.
