Yokohama AVID ENVigor 225/55R17

The Yokohama AVID ENVigor All Season in 225/55R17 is a solid choice for everyday drivers who want one set of tires that can handle the usual mix of commuting, errands, school drop-offs, and weekend highway trips. Its built for year-round use in typical conditions, and it comes with a 60,000-mile warranty, which is a good sign if youre trying to avoid replacing tires too often.

In normal driving, this tire is meant to feel steady and predictable. That matters most in the moments you actually notice your tireslike merging onto a fast highway, taking a longer on-ramp, or making a quick lane change when traffic suddenly slows. Its also designed to help you feel more in control when the road is wet, such as during a hard rain on your morning commute or when you hit those shiny, slick spots at busy intersections.

Comfort-wise, this is the kind of tire most people pick when they want a calm, easy ride rather than something that feels harsh or busy. It should be a good fit for common cars and crossovers that use this size, especially if your driving is mostly paved roads with a mix of city and highway miles. For long trips, a tire like this is typically chosen because it aims to keep the drive smooth and avoid making the cabin feel overly loud.

One honest limitation: like most all-season tires, its not a true winter tire. If you deal with frequent ice, deep snow, or mountain winter driving, youll still want something made specifically for those conditions.
